i. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the Setmark Tiling website and to any quote we provide before a formal project contract is signed. By using the site or requesting a quote, you agree to these terms.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site or submit a quote request. These terms don't replace the project contract you'll sign once you decide to proceed — they sit alongside it.

ii. Use of this website

This website is published in good faith for the purpose of describing our services. You may:

Browse, save and print pages for personal reference
Share links to our pages
Contact us through the forms provided

You may not:

Copy our written content, page designs or imagery for commercial use
Use automated tools to scrape, crawl or harvest data from the site
Use the site to send spam, malicious code, or unlawful content

iii. Quotes & estimates

All quotes are free and provided in good faith. They are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.

A quote is not a binding contract. It becomes binding only when both parties sign a project contract that incorporates the quoted scope, price and timeline. Indicative pricing on this website (e.g. price bands on the Bathroom Renovations page) is for guidance only — your project will be quoted on its own merits after a site visit.

iv. The project contract

Every Setmark project is delivered under a written contract that sets out:

Scope of works (room, layout, materials, finishes)
Fixed price and payment schedule
Programme, including start and completion dates
Variation procedure and pricing
Defects period and warranty

The project contract takes precedence over any conflicting term in this website or in the original quote.

v. Workmanship guarantee

Every installation Setmark completes is covered by a lifetime workmanship guarantee. The guarantee covers defects in our installation work — for example, failed waterproofing, tile delamination caused by setting error, or grout that fails prematurely.

The guarantee does not cover:

Damage caused by movement of the building structure outside our control
Damage caused by impact, abuse or improper maintenance
Manufacturer defects in supplied materials (these are covered by the supplier's warranty, which we will pursue on your behalf)
Natural variation in stone, ceramic or other material finishes

Full guarantee terms are documented in your project contract.

vi. Imagery & content

Setmark Tiling is a new business. The imagery shown on this site — including hero images, the gallery and service-page photography — is presented as style direction and not as completed Setmark work, unless explicitly labelled otherwise. Where imagery shows completed projects, it will be captioned as such with the project location and date.

vii. Liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, Setmark Tiling's liability arising from your use of this website is limited to the cost of re-supplying the information you accessed. This limitation does not apply to liability arising under our consumer guarantees, our project contract, or our workmanship guarantee — all of which remain in full force.

viii. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of South Australia.
